How to Claim in United Kingdom

To obtain emergency assistance contact the 24 Hour Emergency Helpline on:0800 039 3300

You should have the following information available upon request:

• The Vehicle's Registration Number
• Your Name and Home address
• Your Policy Number
• The make and model of the Vehicle
• The Colour of the Vehicle
• The location of the Vehicle
• An indication as to the nature of the problem

In the event of a breakdown on the motorway, proceed to the nearest SOS Emergency Telephone Box. If applicable ask the Police to contact the 24-Hour EMERGENCY help line on the above number. Be prepared to provide the additional information together with the number of the SOS Emergency Telephone Box.

• Your Policy and Validation Certificate
• Dates of travel abroad stated on your Validation Certificate
• Intended date of return home

For accident or breakdown

• Your Vehicle's make and model and registration number
• The date, time and place of the incident (and Vehicle's location now)
• Brief details of the circumstances of
1. the accident damage and any injury, or
2. the theft of Your Vehicle, or
3. the breakdown.
